BROWN RICE VEGGIE WRAP

This wrap is wonderful and delicious for anyone who is trying to stay Gluten free!

Just as good for anyone who is simply looking to stay healthy and not weighted down by lunch. Quick, Simple and Healthy...thats my goal!

 

RECIPE

  • Gently warm your Brown Rice Tortilla, by letting them sit out at room temperature, throwing them into a sauté pan for just a quick moment on each side or set them on a plate and cover with a damp hot paper towel
    • Tip: Brown Rice Wraps can be found in the frozen or refrigerated section of your grocery store--hence the need to warm them! The key is to just soften them, so they are easy to wrap
  • Use half (1/2) an avocado and one scoop of garlic hummus as your base spread
  • Add sprouts, cherry tomatoes, red onion and romaine lettuce
    • Tip: Grab a variety of colors from the fridge! Colors = Healthy!
  • Wrap, slice and Enjoy!

If you look at the ingredient label on the regular flour tortillas, you will notice a long list of preservatives and some not so savory fillers...your health is always worth the extra effort!
